Good morning Amy. I am still working on kitchen appliances, that is ok with me. It is physically demanding and taking a while. They haven't been deep cleaned in a while, but moving forward each day/week. I have been looking for recipes and have been on your blog & vlog and is fun to see how much your children have grown up. I have to also say it broke my heart when you painted your cabinets, love the wood, however, it is amazing how much bigger your kitchen looks with everything painted. You have a great day. Thanks for the ideas and tips. I’ve been out all day celebrating my friends mums 80th birthday, it’s now 1am and I have finally got to watch your vlog. Like my mum and my granny I’ve always been a make do and mend person. I don’t have lots of things except maybe my knitting and crochet tools and yarn. I love to make things and it keeps me sane. Oh Amy, I got so many ideas and tips from you today esp around keeping and organizing paperwork. Like Christmas receipts, time to throw out. By now, and I agree, if there was something with a size or issue with a toy, I should have known by now. Love it! I have to say, I did start on line bill paying and what a difference that makes....so much easier and time saving. When you think of the cost of stamps also, it’s saves you a bit. Thanks for today. Hi Amy! After watching this video, your ideas and advice gave me a great thought! We have an extra room that we use for storage! I decided to go through everything ( probably will take time) and turn it into an office)! My husband and my middle son can do some work in there to make it an office because I take care of the business part of his construction company! I use my phone to make all doctor appointments and anything I want to remember to do. It has an alert on it to let me know 15, 30, or 60 minutes before appointment. I love that feature. I also have a planner that I write these appointments in so I have a permanent record because the phone reminders get erased by me after I attend to them. I often look back in the planner to see when this or that took place. I’m retired and so my husband and I have many doctor appointments to keep track of. The older I get the more doctors we accumulate and more routine tests to have done. I also list these tests, procedures, surgeries on a sheet of paper (typed) so when I fill out forms for doctors I have all info in one place. I also keep a list of medications as well. I find as I get older, more prescriptions are added to my list. I can remember when I didn’t have any medications to take or rarely went to the doctor. These are things I handle when I do “paper work” in my office. Love your channel.

Great video. I’ve been doing my own taxes since I was 17. I’m now 43. I’m a big fan of turbo tax. I remember my mom would buy the cd and then I’d borrow it and put in on my computer. Now I do it all online. And since my husband drives for Uber, I get it for free. Also if you do online banking, sometimes your bank will offer a discount to a tax filing service as well. I went to see about someone doing my taxes when I first bought a home and I was shocked at how much they charge. I figured that I’d just save that money and spend on a fun day with the kids or a treat for myself. Lol

Aimee D, how many can you file on one Turbo Tax online account? Could I do mine and my husbands (file as married) and also my daughters, or should I make an account for my daughter since hers would be free because she makes under 35,000? Just wondering if you know. I was literally just looking this up when I decided to watch this video, too!

We use HR block online then you won't need to have the software it's the same and it is all online .and free:)

Good Afternoon Amy. You look beautiful and your hair looks extra beautiful today. I am so old school with my life and organizing. I dont trust technology planning. The most I do on technology is online banking. I mostly use the pencil/2yr small pocket planner, wall calendars,check registers, etc. I file still in folders in a file cabinet. I too fo through mail daily. I love to throw mail away. Makes me happy. Dont really enjoy getting those bills though. I have a mail slot so I write the due dates on the envelopes and I pay Bill's twice a month. I set them up online to be taken out on certains days andnits done. I threw my magazines away years ago and I am ready to throw the rest away soon because I havent gone through any of them in a long time. I dont even feel like cutting out the recipes either. Lol. I am a firm believer of if you dont use it, lose it and throw it away. Lol. Been doing this with my clothes. Just too much stuff. The older I get the less stuff I want to have around. Amy I do not have an iPhone, I do not even use a cell phone. I have a small flip phone but do not use it anymore. I would like to get an iPhone, but I do not know enough about them and I am afraid of maybe running up a high bill with one that I could not pay. Can you suggest anything I might use or do in making myself feel more secure in getting an iPhone? I was afraid of the computer when I first used it too but now I love it. So I would like to feel that way with an I Phone, but the fear of a large bill scares me too death! I am on limited income. Can you suggest anything for me? I am not a young person either but I just want an iPhone so I can order groceries online and also use it when I am sitting in a doctor's office waiting and waiting. Fear has me down. I should just delete this but I am going to send it to you anyway. Thank you for reading.

You chould also try samsung phones cheaper then iPhone and do the same job do you have a landline your internet provider may do a great deal maybe get a reconditioned phone a cheaper alternative in case you do not use to it's full potential

Yes we don't do iPhone as they are a lot .if you aren't going to do a lot of online looking you probably won't need an unlimited plan..you can go-to Walmart and buy a cheap smart phone..doesn't have to be an iPhone...we have Google and an Android ones and then just pay per month...cheaper .
