TRADUCCIÓN EN WORD: I begin this journey through the soul of Yanní and his magnificence in the creation of so many greater works that the world needs. I find spiritual ties, since my maternal grandmother was Greek Orthodox and I lived for a long time with her and my mother who took care of her. Speaking in Greek at home with my mother was daily bread, to which one was also learning this language so ancestral and full of mythology. There is also the spiritual bond with my father, first violin of the symphony orchestra of the University of Concepción. One of the things that I relive every time I hear the chords of those violins of the Yanní orchestra, since it brings me the image when my father played his music in the living room of the house and we his children sat on the staircase that led to the second floor, step after step formed as in school to listen to him. Well, I begin this tribute to this great contemporary character who is part of the greatest in the world, Yanní. Note by note the show arises and the chords invade the soul, each of the creators of such high melodies, unite their souls in an endless number of clarions, trumpets and violins that are twinned with the timpani, drums, violas, horns, clarinets, harps, bass, oboes, keyboards and duduk, fitting precisely and concisely with the magic that Yanní has created together. The saxophone and an endless number of wind instruments rise like a breeze among the deep sounds that develop in the soul putting the perfect force of emotion and sensitivity of the master who plays the instrument to perfection. The eyes sparkle and the smiles accompany the scores and mingle in the characters, invading the consciences that store each note that gently reverberates in the clear mind. Each moment does not go unnoticed, a gesture, a movement, is in rhythm with each trill of the instruments that stellar take us to dive into the oceans and fly towards the galaxies with the power of thought that makes minds wander along paths strewn with flowers and green meadows of great hopes. Because the hope of seeing, listening and delighting in endless tones gives us life, joy and unites us to the environment that, although far away, is part of our lives that are caressed with this universal magic of true music. The shadows disappear before the diaphanous light of celestial sounds The stony paths, full of thorns, are softened between golden velvets The screams of crowds fade between the arpeggios The waves of the stormy sea are swallowed by deep gorges of harmonious abysses. How much beauty, how much harmony spills through the air, caressing our ears and carpeting distances to bring us closer as brothers in music and nature. The joy no longer murmurs, but shouts to the sound of bass and treble; immortal feelings that are born to remain imprinted with furious and incandescent fire in the crucible of our spirit. There is no absence, of nothing, everything is complete, the fibers beat tensely astonishing and vibrating like the strings of the violin that between undaunted grooves and adjacent channels announce the frenzy of a melody. Mystery takes hold of our watersheds that in sweet saps irrigate from the ears to the brain with the nectars of the violas that are caressed with silky hands and embraced to the body of the performers. The soft dialogue of the oboe moves freely, leaving a trail of goodness in its rhythmic longitudinal chords. The interpretation of mature voices offers sounds that go beyond a blazing beat and closer to the heart. Blonde hair spills over the violas like sylphs from the constellations on a journey full of stars, comets and stars. The harp is traced like the claws of the bird of prey between endless lines and the sharpness of the performer who slides his fingers between the labyrinths of its strings. The cornet with its acuity impacts between the bass, becoming intimate with the violin when it raises its tones in the treble. The timpani and drums commanded by the bass, assume their maintained and effective rhythmic power that makes the body move as if by inertia, deploying the precise beats and tones. Yanní is an enlightened being, who unites each piece of this puzzle with the magic and delicacy of his soul; he evokes, assumes, unfolds, even praises the performers among the intricate passages of the music he has created for the pleasure of his listeners. Its nobility goes beyond a condition, it is almost ancestral, it is a solemn act of humanity, absolute fullness and strength in which audacity, intimacy and self-stimulation that flourishes without ever faltering. He dialogues and is addicted to perfection but with prudence, always converging in the impetuous attitude that excites and pleases those of us who have discovered him and enjoy his compositions. His brain connected to his mind and thought gives the imperceptible orders through a gesture, a stimulus, an action, a movement, which breaks down all the mastery that a good concert needs to be the excellence that it is. Yanní's aura is appreciable in the scores that fly and sneak between backstage and stools, rising in the constellated environment and astral shadows that play with the audience and his orchestra. From Yanni's soul, to every breath of his orchestra is true poetry.
