Love watching you guys!! I just landed a job at almost $1900 for a cleanup with weed barrier and new mulch , It's super exciting to spend a few hours working up a bid sending it out to the customer and getting a deposit on the job! First time I ever bid a job at $65 per labor hour. It was kinda nerve racking but thank God I got it!! Thanks guys you are and inspiration. Keep mulching! Keep weeding! Keep making money boys!

Word of advice from a 27 year veteran of the lawn and landscape industry, never put weed barrier fabric under mulch. Mulch breaks down which adds nutrients to the soil and weeds will grown on top of the fabric rendering it useless. Good Luck on your project.

@@brianladehoff6381 I've had that problem with older landscaping plastic but not newer woven fabric as the water and small particles flow through that fabric instead of getting trapped on top and I like to remove the old mulch every so often as it breaks down and becomes less visually appealing.

@@SpaceAgeGenesis I had an overgrown pine tree too close to a corner of a house I just purchased. When the neighbor caught wind I was taking her down, they expressed their disapproval because it provided shade to their house and they believed lowered their AC bills. They were also good, reasonable people and understood that I was taking the tree down because it was inappropriately planted to close to my house and posed a foundational threat. Mom got diagnosed with pre diabetes over 10 years ago and really worked on taking free classes and things and switched the whole family over without us really noticing to the healthy and recommended DASH diet and cut out most of the red meats. It probably made us healthier in some ways but it didn't do a thing to help us lose weight. I think DASH is about how you eat rather than how much you eat. The other day we had a stranger introduce themselves as a nurse out of the blue and wanted to talk to us about our diet. It was a really bad experience and she made one after the other false assumptions about how to look like we do, we must down gallons of full calorie soda pop, fried foods, and ice cream daily but that couldn't be further from the truth. It was pretty insulting.

Nice job. Expensive black much, them people gots money in Ohio. Couple of things. Glad the neighbor wanted bigger beds, I never add any new space to a bed because it's a longer weed eat and consumes more mulch. I also use a spade and put a 30%ish angle cut on the edge so when the mulch is thrown and smoothed and you pack the edges it makes a nice little v trough for the rain water to collect as it runs off. And to pack the edges I use an aluminum rock rake, 3 feet is quicker than a 1 foot yard rake. I was happy to see you let people know to use the backside of a leaf rake for smoothing, I see so many beds with clumps and piles just all through them. I also never use a shovel in a wheelbarrow otherwise you have to rake the mulch onto it with your arm like in the video. A wide short handle pitch works way better to get behind and around shrubbery. I only use the shovel to push mulch into a wheelbarrow once it is low enough to get behind and do it. haha and that was sleet not hail, where I come from it's not hail until you have to called the insurance company.😶 Just some thoughts and again great video maybe something said will help you and maybe not but it was free. 🙂 Oh and my neck of the woods is N.C.

Fun to watch yall do such a nice job .the yard you did looks so sharp .great line around the whole front and side. The one beside it will look amazing with all those beds too. Great work and its such satisfying work. You immediately see improvement every step of the way and just keeps getting better till your done. Can't imagine a homeowner not being happy with yalls work. Just subscribed. I love doing that kind of work but never done it as a business or job just usually for family and friends . Thanks for sharing 👍
