Thank you so very much for this video. I did a search on how to take down old blnds an an apartment I moved into and install new vinyl blinds and yours was one that I landed. I was trying to get the brackets that were already up there but just needed to slide the front gadgets out and I was able to install the new ones. Once again Mant Thanks!!!!

I was doing everything but this to get them down. I tried prying the bottom then hearing a snap(part of the base breaking off) but still functionable. Then I saw you slide the front part and presto I was able to get the blinds off. They have been up for at least 16 years. Now I dont have to go and buy new ones because I broke the whole bracket. Saved my $$ now I can put that money in my rainy day fund.

You may be able to have someone hold it in place and then mark off where the middle holder should go.

There are only cordless blinds on sale in stores. Yours is corded blind.
