The swift hand of change turned the humble girth of Homer Simpson to a liability of aggression. In his newfound hubris of physical dominance, he saw himself as superior to those who had once been of equal weight. But he soon found that it was not psychique that made a man powerful, but the possession of weapons. The tide of technology, which man had himself crafted, had overflown upon the once apex human form. The fallacy of progress had been the catalyst for his demise twofold.

An inspiring story about the eternal desire of men to improve themselves, and despite their very best efforts to improve their bodies, to emulate the Hero's of Ancient Greece, they don't share their power. All those hours of hard work, dieting, training and putting in graft, ultimately pointless. Homer's newfound confidence enabled by his impressive physique results in a tragedy as epic as Homer's own namesake. He dies, and with his death, his own family falls apart. Bravo.

For what use is thousands of hours of exercise and regime if you're always going to be second place to the man with the gun? Inspiring.
