That Bible curriculum looks awesome!Statistics show that kids who fall away from their faith often do so because they were never taught apologetics or the foundations of their faith. Great choice 👍

I am using the same curriculum for my kids who are in 7th and 9th grade. I can confirm that the younger Route 66 is NOT the same, but I've found useful bits (word searches and activities) to reinforce. My 3rd grader listens along, and participates in the scripture memory, and I "modify" the tests (leaving out parts that are over her head) for her. This is a very good survey of the Bible, and is very open-ended for the parent, mostly giving bullets and objectives, no "script". I was a little overwhelmed at first, but I'm finally getting into the swing of it after remembering that there is no need to stress, and we accomplish what we accomplish. Thanks so much for this flip-thru.

Oh! A couple of other notes; it recommends 2 lessons per week in the beginning; there is NO WAY my kids could handle one Lesson per day and actually absorb anything. It took us about 3 weeks to accomplish unit 1.

Thank you for doing a flip through of this! It was very helpful and informative. I’m trying to find something to work through the Bible with my kids (grades 2nd/3rd) and although I enjoyed the flip through of it, I was wondering what your overall takeaway from it is after working through it with your kids?

Thank you Ashlee. I like that it is for teens also. After some searching I was able to find a site where you can purchase the PDF versions for half the cost. We are on a limited budget, I am glad I have found this option.

Hi, there is a series called "Drive Thru History" I think your kiddos would love watching. I'm sure Christian Book had it. Focus on the Family produced it, I think .... anyway, I love watching it myself, it's quite entertaining 😊

So would you say for the older kids that you would actually need the teachers guide ? We are very much into church. I got the younger kiddos book for my 6yo. So the older kid book is far off into the future. I am just wondering if you can do it with out the teachers manual.

Also maybe there is another update on how this went this school year. But have you liked this ??? I have a hard time when it comes to a Bible curriculum bc we have so many devotional and our home is very Christ centered, but I am switching up curriculum && thought this looked so nice online.

This is one request I made! Hooray! I already purchased Our 24 family ways plus Exploring the Bible for my kids for this year but I def have my eye on this for next year! You can also find that colored route 66 book on Rainbow Resource. My question is, can you use any Bible version for this curriculum?

yes any version!

This looks like a great bible curriculum. I know this comment is super random, but we’re planning our very first camping trip in the next few weeks so I watched your video a while ago of you prepping for your trip. Would you mind sharing your pasta salad recipe? I remember watching and thinking oh those ingredients are different than how I make it but it sounds so good! Lol.

I literally just take those things and bottle of Italian dressing and feta and Parmesan and mix, then refrigerate!

Hey👋 I really like this curriculum!! I also am going to do our 24 family ways because of your video 😊 my children are 9,7,5 and 3 so it will be awhile before I use this for them. I teach the youth study at our church on Wednesday nights, I was wondering if this would work in that format? (We’re not having class right now but hope to soon!) I would also love a day in the life or do a lesson with us with this curriculum!! I love all the great information and content you give, thank you!! 👍😁
