Very nice video, I was curious about their science...We love the Masterbooks sciences for younger grades - mainly the older versions that come in multiple books instead of a huge one :) and Generations for Middle School.

Nothing wrong with picking up a curriculum half way thru the school year!!! It’s ok to still be doing it next school year!!! We rarely use experiment sheets as we do them orally but I get them just incase!!! We skip lessons on evolution but we discuss it as well!!! We normally discuss it with documentaries!!!

Great idea! Do you have any favorite documentaries? We love "Is Genesis History", but that one might be a little much for my kids at this age. And that's a great reminder that it's ok to "skip" lessons as needed

If i remember correctly, Sonlight actually does have material that includes evolution for us to teach what we personally believe bc Sonlight has a young earth position but to give families the opportunity to discuss and develop apologetics

Yep, they do! This is correct. They don’t offer much though on the apologetics/Biblical worldview side of things though, so if this is an area of importance that a parent might not feel as comfortable teaching on their own/without materials, it may be worth supplementing. But I do love that Sonlight at least offers “both sides” of things, so kids can become familiar with what others believe!

I appreciate this so much! I used the old Level A three years ago. I want to go back to Sonlight Science possibly for next year. So it was good to see what things look like as this may be the level I choose. ❤
