We have the same Timberdoodle K curriculum. We bought the elite kit. When it comes to the reading, we didn’t use the Timberdoodle reading to start with....because it seemed to promote reading by memory. We used Teach your child to read in 100 easy lessons instead. Then went to All about reading and added in all the 1st grade reading books from A Beka. We also have some Charlotte Mason things in, along with normal school books from public schools, pre common core. It might seem like a lot, but our child is crazy about learning lol. He could literally do the entire math course in 1 week etc. if we would let him. Lol.
