Those devotionals are the same ones we love as well. Indescribable is amazing and really keeps kids engaged. Ours is literally falling apart. We have to keep it binder clipped or we loose pages

I’ve even bought puffy paint because you did at ikea. 🤦‍♀️🤣 My daughter likes what y’all do. But now I have a new list of things to look at. My hubby might make me take a break. Lol.

I love Not Consumed Ministries! We are using them for the first time for one of their devotionals "My Brothers Keeper" I thought what a perfect study to do regarding sibling love and respect to start off our school year! I am looking forward to my kids being older so we can do the missionaries study from them!

This will be our first year doing morning basket! Kids are 2nd, K, and preschooler (little one will just play and is free to get down). We will have Bible, history read aloud, and rotate through Latin/poetry/music/art.

Love this video! I love that you point out that your gather around stuff is separate from your morning basket. I think I need to do that because we tried doing our history after our morning basket stuff and it was just so much sitting, almost too much for my boys and myself 😂. Makes me think I should definitely separate because I think at this rate, I’ll give it up on it completely because of burn out.

I am a Morning Basket Mama for the last ten years. I think Pam Barnhill got it to be vey popular. She wrote a book about Morning basket, she also has pod casts on morning masker. Look her up she is Amazing! What do we have in our morning basket? A game, good living books, some jokes, and Mad Libs. I absolutely love your planner! This is our 9th year homeschooling as well. This will be the first year that I am going to do do a morning basket and will be doing it for my kindergartener. I just purchased the Courage of Sarah Noble to do as a read aloud this year as well. I will have to look for those printables to go with it, thanks for the recommendation.

We do morning basket at the table. My kids get a snack to keep their hands and mouths busy lol. My kids at 6, 6 and 8. After they are done eating then they color or build with blocks ❤ We also are loving Jamie kight's daily affirmations!!

I’ve been doing morning basket since my oldest was in kindergarten and I called it, “circle time” then. Now, she’ll be a senior!! We are still doing morning basket together (along with her 6 siblings)! We love the slow mornings too! I believe the concept came from Cindy Rollins.

Do you have any suggestions for 2nd grade science. I have a really energetic 7 year old boy and he loses interest so fast if there is a lot work in a lesson. I do have the Good and the beautiful science but I am thinking it may be a bit to much for him.

Hi I’m new to homeschooling and I have 3 boys as well! 12, 9, 5 yo. I love your videos and your style! I also love the idea of doing a morning basket to get the ball rolling together. We have done morning walk then scriptures and a poem or drawing but I also love the idea of adding in read aloud and affirmations. Do you only read aloud to them or do they read aloud as well?
