I love seeing how other homeschoolers plan! As an aside, Frixion makes retractable multipens! I bought one that has black, red, green, and blue, but you can get lots of other colors in refill sets.

Wow, this is so helpful. I'm so overwhelmed with trying to plan my Sonlight after trying it out a few weeks. We are ahead on some parts of the IG and behind on some so rewriting it all in one place would be so helpful. I might try this

At first I thought, why would I want to rewrite my curriculum planner that comes with my books into a separate one, but I now see the benefit of having one that includes all subjects and all kids at one look. I'm not the best at following through with my planner, but I like to at least start it all organized.

@@sciencemama Additionally, I like how you plan weekly. I've been pushing myself to get months planned out but I don't seem to stay on track, I think I will try planning this way and maybe it won't seem so insurmountable!

Your recommendation for flex binders made such a difference in our homeschool. We do things slightly different than you but the system in and of it’s self has simplified my job as a homeschool mom tremendously

This system is so smart! You are able to easily keep track of everyone’s work and when things don’t line up with the SL schedule you are able to reformulate the next week’s schedule and keep moving forward. I’m going to implement this instead of constantly making notes on my SL IG-it’s much better to have that “real-time” separate planner (the way you just showed in the video). I appreciate your videos, thank you!

Your flex binder video from last year was so helpful and now seeing that you put your planner in the flex binder as well! I love it!!! I love that it’s all in one place. What size is your flex binder? How does it all fit so nicely
