Fellow Kiwi here, from Chch 😊 I always love watching how others plan - we are in our seventh year homeschooling, and planning changes every few years for me as the kids get older, and we’ve also changed how we homeschool over the years. I find having a general idea for the year helps, but I mostly go term by term because LIFE 😅

We love homeschooling in different locations but that means I need to plan for days off and I push things forward!!! I didn’t notice your microphone till you spoke about it!!! Nothing wrong with messy rooms as it shows it’s used!!! As I plan digitally I use the pdf planners and make a copy of the pages we are on in my planner where I can write on them as needed!!! I have a homeschool packing list in my planner!!! We just read a Fabel each time we read Aesop’s Fables so one a day!!! We love sharing reading!!! I don’t map out the year as I use the curriculum as a guide!!! We are planning on do intense schooling from September but I may need to be more flexible and I’m glad We did more when world schooling!!! We don’t do supplements often unless needed or wanted!!! My kids don’t often want extra schooling!!! Using manuals on my phone helps with travel schooling!!!

I liked this video! Anything planning related is such a blessing as I’m trying to figure out the best method :) we went with happy planner this year but I’m think plum planner next year!

We follow their plan. :) I do let my kids read ahead in their readers though.

Question for you, I've seen your planning videos before and I know you've used anna vance before, I believe you had a video where you selected her download option. Do you know what paper is used for the anna vance planners?!

So now I am curious....did you actually get much school done while at your parents' house?! I ask because I have taken school on trips before and not much gets done!

We did! :) I didn't plan to do big, full days, but we got through what we needed to.
