These books seem interesting but I find it insanely funny that those who have commented about “indoctrination” and “propaganda” think that the public school system DOESN’T teach that way…..5days a week….8hrs a day 😂.

Explain?
@thunderbird3694 Жыл бұрын
@@jgreaders2451 “Privatization” was coined in English descriptions of the German experience in the mid-1930s. In the early twentieth century, many European economies featured state ownership of vital sectors. Reprivatisierung, or re-privatization, marked the Nazi regime’s efforts to de-nationalize sectors of the German economy. As Bel notes, “German privatization of the 1930s was intended to benefit the wealthiest sectors and enhance the economic position and political support of the elite.”

thank you so much for such a useful video! please don't let the "unhelpful" comments stop you from making great content. as far as implementing within your homeschool, if you have multiple ages, it seems the best way is to do them it to use as a read aloud and discuss throughout.

Wait, why do young children need to learn about what socio-economic system is best? Like instead of shoving propaganda and ideas down their throats why don’t instead teach them critical thinking skills and how to find and vet sources so that when they do become old enough for these question to become relevant to them they can make their own opinions?
@eileendasneves35403 жыл бұрын
I think that’s fantastic that you’re able to think in these terms and communicate that with your children! I think some parents in general or some of us have trouble communicating and this is a fantastic way to help open discussion for children and help bring awareness. I love your enthusiasm and direct writing skills in order to help communicate with others, thank you God bless!! 🙌🙌

I have friends who use Notgrass History curriculum. Honestly, I just use our Classical Conversations guide as an area to focus (For example, we are studying ancient history this year. We did US history last year.) Then once we have a focus, I will read living books and find as many picture books that pertain to the topic. I have found my kiddos learn best with living books rather than a history textbook!
