Homeschooling while working can be so challenging! What do you think your kids can do while you work? Could you work on a Saturday? or Do School on Saturdays? Let me know what you think!

Yes! Be realistic. I notice that if I don’t be realistic with my time I get super grumpy and angry with my kids. Because we don’t get things done and so feel rushed.

Living With Eve yes, I hate feeling rushed. We need to just simplify and savor the time. So hard to remember to do. Thanks for sharing, friend 💗

"Work while they're sleeping and not while they're awake" is my current stage. haha! This is definitely advice I need because the idea of working at home and having littles and homeschooling is new to me!

how does the health insurance work for children when homeschooling when not working full time?
@JoyfulNoiseLearning3 жыл бұрын
That's a great question, I believe it depends on your work. I know most places don't offer health insurance to part time workers. So that is something to consider. I don't have health insurance with my work, but my husband works full time and has insurance through his work for the whole family. I hope that helps!

“ A time budget.” 🤍

I struggle so badly with fitting in time to work on my businesses and spending time with my family. I for sure need a time budget or block schedule but even more important is I need to learn the self-discipline to follow it! Any tips for that? lol
@JoyfulNoiseLearning4 жыл бұрын
Oh goodness, Vani! I could talk so much about struggling with this! I actually talked about it a little bit, but my video was too long so I cut some of it out and tried to stay on topic, lol! What has helped me a ton is setting a timer or alarms on my phone. Kind of wakes me up to what I need to be doing next. And just turning my phone OFF when I don’t need to be on it and just be with my family.

@@JoyfulNoiseLearning I set those alarms and then just turn them off bc they annoy everybody and I still don't follow through!! AHHHH! I need to get it together lol!

@@MrsMomsHomeschool 😂You can do it! Start with one good habit at a time!

Where do I find the weekly time budget?

This one is from Mystie Winckler’s Work the Plan Course. You could probably google for one!! I need to just make one and add it to my Printables!
