Bought the teacher guide. But will actually mainly use worksheets. Didn’t know about the worksheets on answers in Genesis. Agree. Would have been nice to have questions by levels! I’ll probably cut out some questions from the application and glue into her notebook... and have her maybe answer 1-2 questions a week... thanks for all your great advice!

Absolutely! Do them in whatever order you like. The original books were published separately and used in any order.

I bought the two teacher guides for the worksheets but plan on copying for our next child to use later. I would rather just download from answers in genesis but I really can not find it! I've actually never used the site (first year homeshcooling) and can't even find teacher resources. Can you point me there?

I wanted to know if you could compare this with Apologia? I’m debating between the two and can’t decide. Is GD written in the same style as Apologia? Is there a experiment kit available like there is with Apologia? This is a wonderful review! Thank you for the information.

I also like how Apologia has the pronunciation guide to all new words, is GD like this?

I no longer have Apologia books here to do a comparison video but I will try to answer your specific questions. I think the writing style in Apologia is slightly more conversational at times, however, there is ALOT more volume to digest. One thing I noticed was that while Apologia says it is for K-6, I cannot imagine using any of their courses as is (without modifying) with a kindergartner/first grader....even just as a read aloud. Their intended range is just so broad and I don't know feel that they execute the multi-age group as well as GD series does. The range is smaller in the latter, but the activities are clearly marked by age group and are well-designed to coordinate with other levels. I think teaching multiple ages is much more realistic with GD. As far as experiment kits, no, they are not available for GD series. I actually just asked about them the other day, hoping they would be available this year. There is currently no plan to create them. I would LOVE if they did that, though.

The answer keys are only available in the teacher's guide from either MB or AIG. As I mentioned in the video, this option works for me because I don't personally feel I need the keys for this level of science. If they would be helpful to you, you would need to purchase the guide.

It would depend on how old your kiddos are and how much time you spend in science weekly. In the right combination of those factors, I'd say it's totally possible to do.

@@anydayblessings2354 thank you so much! We spend at least an hour in science a day and were doing it five days a week because its her favorite subject and it seems to working great! Well see how it flows and make sure she or I dont burn out! We have decided to take it though as a if we don't want to do it thats fine cause we can do the other half of the book next year! My daughter is in 3rd grade by the way 😁

What is the difference (if any) of the Masterbook Published series vs the AIG series other than Masterbook put them all together...Is the material for both identical for both Student Txt and the Teacher Manual? Thanks in advance!

The main different if formatting and the schedule. MB version has a complete course schedule with assignments. MB also has all the test and quizzes printed out for you. The course content is exactly the same, however.

I am looking for a Life Science curriculum for my 8th grader. The content seems like what we need. I'm afraid it will not be challenging enough for her age. Any thoughts?

It is intended through grade 8, however, if you'd like to beef it up a bit, I highly suggested the anatomy and physiology books. You could work through animals and plants a little quicker (maybe two lessons per day) and spend a bit more time in human anatomy with the additional books. It is something I am considering for the future. I hope that helps! If you decide to use just GDFL for your 8th grader, I would suggest having him do an outline of the reading with an oral narration in addition to the provided assignments if you want to add more.
