The online tests are definitely challenging when you haven't used them before, but it is great that he got accepted into the charter! It is great that you have found a good reading resource for you guys! I hope you continue to enjoy your year!

We started the yr in middle of may but we where still travelling at the time!!! We are at home before we travel again on January!!! We ended up with a kid going to Japanese school for certain classes!!! She asked me for it but it’s just for art and Japanese language and culture so she’s still homeschooling!!! We are part of a private school for funding and transcripts, resources!!! We chose it as it’s required to be a private school or users cover school!!! We are part of a co op!!! Homeschool can be done in 3 days a week, we’ve done it!!! Nothing wrong with switching curriculum wen it doesn’t work!!! I have kids who struggle with phonics so we go at their pace!!! We love math u see!!! I grew up with it and my teenagers love their high school levels!!! We love MWC!!! My teenagers are trying to Master shapes even tho they’re learned them!!! I don’t always follow the curriculum week but we go back to the next lesson!!! We prefer yr long school and we choose our breaks!!!

So many similarities with your son and my youngest daughter! She did pre reading with AAR and has still struggled! We went to AAR 1 and also struggled with blends. She is a few lessons away from finishing Logic of English A and doing so much better

we just started LOE A also on lesson 12 and we kept ziggy too from the prereading AAR 🤗

We finished prereading but i definitely think we could have just started at LOE A since they do cover the same concepts as AAR prereading but even more practice.
