1960 sounds bolder. You have great stamina. We're all proud of you. I'm playing the Bitter End tune. You've done as much for our 6 string community, as the Beatles on Ed Sullivan. We get fired up by you. Stay well Bromanguydude.

Tommy Tones, I’ve been in a rut amigo, I keep playing the same shit. I bought music theory and scale books but they’re boring as hell. I’ve been bogarting some of your style and it’s helping me think outside the box and explore the fretboard more. Thanks bro, you’re the teacher I always wanted.

Hell yeah, Tom!! So stoked you finally got your Custom. The two-tone look kills.

In 1968 I was 14 and moved up to a Tele Custom. Didn't know anything about 'mud caps' and had Dan Armstrong (his-self) rewind it - Still had no top end... DUH!!! Then, like an idiot, I stripped the finish and wound up selling it - Double DUH!!! Decades later, I stumbled on to and fell in love with a Custom Shop Tele Custom (á la 1960) - It has matured into a really good player and sits next to me at my desk... I'm thrilled you got a real one, Uncle Larry - Enjoy it!

I’m such a huge Jeff Senn fan from owning a couple of his Original Senn Telecasters (Pomona), I bought one of these Model One’s when they first came out. It’s a different vibe for sure but still a fantastic guitar. Glad to see it getting some love.

I got a 64' Harmony Bobkat, bought it at a garage sale for $20 10 years ago. I had to remove the fretboard and reglue it to get a twist out, resurface the board and refrett with bigger, better frets, new nut and tuners, one of my favorite guitars. The pickups are super hot, I guess the lady winding them was on coffee break because they are 13k.

That 60' Tele Custon is great! That sure looks like burst on the sides to me. I think I like that one better than the 63' by a nose, they both sound very difference and have their place. The 60' is, like you said, really woody and open, the 63' sounds more like you would expect a Tele to sound but I kinda prefer the 60' cheers brother. I am also trying to do an Uncle Larry Impersonation Video if I can figure out how to do it in time.
