Very exciting battles here, showing the prowess of both of your skills. Some of the plays by itsaxn where he predicts your switches and catches show to me what separates the top tier out from more casual players like myself. always great to see this.

14:20 foreshadowed the lose con at 15:45 I still cannot believe you are able to tangle with world champs and make it competitive.

Axn's an absolute homie. Incredible at the game, but extremely humble and a strong spirit. Definitely fitting qualities of a World Champ I love these sorts of videos, and I'd be curious to see battles against some other competitors that often make top cut at regionals or other events. Doone, Lyle, Yaco battles would be interesting, and/or maybe spicing it up against the legend IshikawaBoy (or me, but idk if I'd make entertaining content)
@joefarmer99767 ай бұрын
in these games, you almost have to predict that he is going to predict your switches and plan a double bluff alternate plan of assuming he predicts the switch and working around it, hahaha, so many mind games at this level!!!

This content is top tier. Unreal Henry! It’s said if you do something with hard passion you become a legend. You’re on that road. It’s time Homeslicehenry starts playing competitive.

Another thing that’s kind of crazy is watching your videos and watching all the likes happen live before me and the likes underneath comments at the side of my screen very active channel. Sorry if my spelling or grammar is bad I dictate everything I have very bad arthritis.

Henry would be nice in future if you do this type challenge on ultra league. Maybe it just my opinion, but would lot rather see ultra league being competive cup in pokemon go. Lot pokemon come enought bulky they arent easy one shot like in great league and ofc that allowed more pokemon playable what they arent great league cause level just to low.

It's tough, because if I did I'd want to make a video covering the run, but only streamed matches are saved. Any matches done offstream the footage isn't saved, so I'd miss a large part of any tourney

@@HomeSliceHenry might not be perfect, but Tho does a good job of covering his own tournament games; I'm sure he'd give you some pointers on how he does things if you ever compete

Show 6 pick 3 is how PVP should be. They need to add a competitive mode that is that setup so this stupid ass algo can’t keep fuckin you over and over.

Yeh i recently test one whole day using dragonair-gliscor-lanturn.. this team was super weak to alolan sandlash.. not sure do you belive if i say 90% games i see alolan sandlash lead. that point where i was raise my elo earlier +200 points, so that point game decide i need go closer 50% win rate. Just saying and my point people who say there is no any algo in gbl. After you raised your elo lot put some team where is one clear weakness and suddenly you start see those pokemons all time. A-sandslash arent super popular pokemon anymore what it was season two ago.

@affi6064 I can absolutely guarantee when I get to 1950 elo I will automatically get hard counters to all 3 pokemon that I had been running the entire climb. It's almost laughable at this point
@affi60647 ай бұрын
@@bensmith9164 Well if you was like lot lower elo and raise near 2k. Its might be just people using different mons also. I mean it good notice when you raise ranks people dont use usually same teams. Like i see lot bastiodon in 2000-2400 elo, but when raise +2500 you dont really see them much at all. That also make some streamer saying some team dominate, but when you test it different elo it just get hard countered and cant win almoust any matches. Like some streamer use X team 3k elo which super weak bastiodon you get absolute destroyed when use same team around 2k elo where full of basti teams. But about algo its not elo itself. Just if you win lot battles row it trigger algo and force you lose matches, so you get near 50% win rate.
@bensmith91647 ай бұрын
@affi6064 I was around 1850 when I started with that team and did a few 4-1 and 3-2 sets, right when I hit 1950 I went 0-5 and 1-4 on my next 2 sets using same pokemon. I can see once you hit 2k and then like 2250 the "meta" changing but I was seeing pokemon I haven't seen all season. I also understand I am not going to win every match, nor do I expect to. I would just prefer to not have literal hard counters to every single one of my team, or see pokemon I haven't seen all season that just so happen to destroy my whole team.

Why share move sets?
@HomeSliceHenry7 ай бұрын
For tournaments, they use an "open team sheet" style, where pokemon and moves are revealed. So we used the same rules that axn is used to when he competes
