Hey thanks for the shoutcast! I'm glad those battles were enjoyable. The team was overall pretty fun to play and performed a lot better than I expected. Its only huge weakness is charm leads since usually I was able to handle other fairy leads. Also the last set was 5-0 :P

@@drae6984 🤣Incredible. Not to be a professional nut gargler but it takes all my powers of concentration to make legend and I didn't even make it last season (ended in the 2900s) and that's playing every game. I'm in awe of people like you.

@@Jmarley11 Thanks! And getting to legend is already something only a small percentage of players can do, and I think with a bit more practise of advanced strategies and mastering a team that you also enjoy you'll be able to make it much easier for yourself!

Yeah I've made legend 4 times but I still feel like a clownshow when I watch guys like you, Inadequence, Reis, Caleb, Tho, etc. It's insane how many little things make the difference in this game, atm I'm working on banking moves, catching moves, undercharging and letting myself get low before ko-ing on safe swaps. It's a very enjoyable work in progress, win or lose, partly because my opponents are also so good and probably working on the same things I am so I always respect them even when I lose. @@drae6984

that outro is so real, i was able to hit expert this season in halloween cup due to my knowledge of how to play shadow golurk, last season i only just hit vet in catch cup after getting super lucky, keep counting, keep feeling around in the dark, it will work

Fun fact: Hydro Cannon and night slash do the exact same damage on psychic type pokemon.

Night slash has the chance to buff and uses slightly less energy so it is better against psychics

I was able to reach legend in 700 battles. Definitely the quickest time for me(I think) Not as dope as 500 but I'm proud about my 700. Maybe gonna set the 500 goal next season. Prolly won't hit but a goal is a goal! P.S seeing those that are hitting legend in under 300 battles is wild!

I’m at 2913 elo atm in 393 battles atm, mainly cause I’ve only been doing 1-2 sets every couple of days. I definitely won’t be playing catch cup though lol.

I wonder if anyone has me beat. I hit legend in 269 battles this season and my starting ELO was in the 2500's. I was Ace rank at 2500. The funny thing is that I'm not even that good. I think this season was just extremely easy. I had 197/269 record to be able to do so.

My guess is yeah. I got it in 284 battles this season but it was far from optimized and I got very unlucky in the 2900s. The world record is probably somewhere in the low 200s, but can't find any source right now
