I still don’t get why most people run aqua tail over sludge bomb on drapion. Yea it’s spammier… but doesn’t hit anywhere near as hard. Azu would’ve gotten CLAPPED if he had sludgebomb instead of aqua tail

so, you can hit ground types for super effective. Plus, you can’t really bait with sludge bomb, it costs too much energy.

@@chocopichu at the cost of your hardest hitting STAB move? Maybe if it was running poison jab it wouldn’t be as necessary but if I’m running a poison type I want to deal good poison damage. I can still hit ground types with STAB crunch but a fairy just walls you otherwise.

@@dacubanmofo You just care about the damage, the main reason for using drapion is to bait out mons, to get as much shield advantage as possible.

@@chocopichu I guess it depends on how you play him, but at 4.5 EPT sludge bomb can still be reached fairly quickly and people may not respect it. People may expect you to bait with drapion for the reasons you stated.

Shadow Machamp is a unit, basically had at least some play ever since it was introduced. Looks like I have to spend some elite TMs 😂 also respect to the Primeape trainer, very cool

I’ve been running dewgong on the lead and registeel and shadow machamp in the back. Dewgong covers for clodsire and gastrodon leads and registeel baits them out as a safe switch that allows the dewgong to farm down.

I think someone needs to sell me on getting Machamp Stone Edge. He is so glassy that I wonder how well he can get to it. Wouldn't there be some clear advantages to Rock Slide? When I use it, I get to rock slide by the skin of my teeth and just think that either I burn both shields on Machamp or my opponent will never see a rockslide. Having said that, I am not a legend in PVP and so I know some of this (maybe most) is skill.

alot of it is about maneuvring the machamp into a situation where it can get the farm, and get the shields down to make it a threat, im not that good at it so i cant utilize machamp that well right now, but hopefully will be able to as the season goes on

Primeape has an attack stat of 207. Machamp has an attack stat of 234. Robbery

*You're going by their Pogo base stats, which is understandable.* Levels and ivs are what make the overall actual attack stat in game though. Because Primeape has an overall lower MAX CP than Machamp while still having a good attack stat, it generally gets to a much higher level in great and Ultra League than Machamp does, which makes its overall in game attack stat slightly higher. I don't feel like checking sims, but maybe if you have a 0/15/15 Primeape and a 15/0/0 Machamp, machamp would win it? 🤷‍♂️

I used Machamp idk man maybe. It's just me but I just don't like Machamp at all yes a good shadow Machamp is good but if you don't have one regular ain't all that I rather use Lucario and that's been my go too ever since the vigoroth nerf.

i didn't try out shadow machamp considering how expensive it is both elite tms each Fucking hell man my machamp just casually 1 v 3 an entire team That thing is a unit grab him a shield advantage that thing will go on a rampage if not something like clod even up shields machamp cooks the flying umbrion

I don't think regular primeape has more attack than shadow machamp. I think it was lag or a bug, you definitely got screwed over there.
