The incredible thing about HSR is that for anyone familiar with the source material, it seems almost impossible to take scenes out of context - it's so tightly written that you can see almost _any_ clip and instantly know the context.
@vksasdgaming947210 ай бұрын
You could also say that whatever you take is always out of context as it is so consistently weird.

@fatcerberus10 ай бұрын
@@woeiscamila it’s a bit different - with most “out of context” compilations you laugh _because_ the scenes have been removed from their context and the new interpretation(s) are funny. Here, I found myself laughing the minute scenes started because I knew everything that led up to them and it was hard to actually “forget” the context while watching it, if that makes sense.

I literally can't put anything down the garbage disposal without telling it to meet So And So.

I haven't watched these in so long and yet I still remembered exactly what so many of these were from. It wasn't included here but I still use "It's corn and corn alone day" more often than id like when I'm on a tight food budget.

Flash Animation from small studios, which would later turn into well known ones, will always be my favorites.Flash Animation’s the grandfather to modern digital animation, and I like that

I haven’t seen any of these bits in a good decade, but I’ve thought about six of them in the past week, and will continue to do so for the next century.

All of those were great, but I'd like to add, for consideration: "You can't destroy meeee!"

I feel slightly called out by this, but it's intensely accurate. I mostly watched teen girl squad, and I frequently find myself quoting some random part of any episode.
7:01 Holy shit this feels so much like Dunkey's style of comedy. Wonder if he was a homestar fan at one point lol

Yep, he is/was, confirmed he and Leah mention it once or twice... in some stream or another 🤘

Never heard of him, but if one is well-versed with the comedy stylings of the Brother Chaps, it's pretty easy to spot. So I might-should go check him out :3

The best part is that my 12 minute video would have almost no overlap with yours. Amazing

Finally a compilation I can send to my friends who don’t get my references. My mom raised me on Homestar Runner but no one in my life knows what it is. Which is tragic because it makes up a lot of my vocabulary.
