This video sums up what's wrong with modern television, too much ads and filler and not enough actual show. In fact, many reality shows don't even HAVE credits themes, they just roll credits on top of the end of the episode. In fact they re-edit reruns of old shows to remove their original end credits themes to conform to this modern style.

Example: Watching My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic (Don't judge me), 1 min of show, then 1 min of theme song, then watch a commercial, then watch show with commercial breaks, ending instrumental version of theme, gets cut off by a commercial.
