I found your vlog a year ago when covid hit. Have been enjoying going back as far as possible to see what you've done. Wow! From this video 5 years ago to now, March 2021, you have accomplished so much. I'm a town girl from Iowa, so it's been fun meeting your family and learning about raising animals and keeping up a farm. Keep up the good work!

Howdy Daniel - Y'all have come a long way since this blog. This reminds me of my PaPa's place when I was just a little shaver. I am just a country boy who enjoys life and what it has to offer. I really enjoy your comments and convictions. My first name is Ken and my son, along with his family call me Popish.

What a great place to live and to grow up for your kids. Country life "grows" different kinds of kiddos. I was a post secondary teacher for many years, and I could tell which kids grew up in the country and which ones grew up in a major metroplex. Completely different attitudes toward life. Much of what is taken for granted is so valuable. Good luck to you and yours. Thanks for the tour.

Daniel, Don't you worry about those noisy goats in the background. It's music to my ears. Being that we raised both meat and milk goats while I was growing up, it's a good sound to me. : ) If your wife hates those very efficient feed storage freezers, then why not take a few pieces of scrap lumber or buy some already made lattice panels and build sides and maybe an easy open and shut lid for it? Thanks for sharing the story about your Dad building the cabin. Wish you would do a series of videos, sitting with your family in the evening, maybe by the fireplace, and tell some of your Dad's Mom's, Grandparent's stories to the family, so they can be preserved on video for them. Find out if other subs would enjoy that. I think they may. : )
