Doesn't mean you don't keep pushing and doing a great job while at it but man. It can be hard. And we need to create space for both feelings of gratitude and stress to co-exist. For us and for those around us. She chose to. Doesn't mean it isn't hard. And if anything, she is beyond hands on with her babies....

Settling into "normal" after Holy Week & Easter is always challenging. Watching this video was a balm. I love seeing the older kids move with such grace - far from home & meeting/re-meeting relations. Watching the next younger kids step up, fill the gap, & have that time with you as the big kid. I know everyone will be glad to be together again but I bet all of them will remember this time fondly - whether they traveled or were at home.
