The textures show their age (hopefully next expansion will be better looking as they stated earlier this year) but the lighting makes the whole map look so cosy, especially with the water mill shot

Guild Wars 2's art style has been carrying hard for years. Even if the textures look a bit dated the lighting and overall art design is still incredible.

If you can give other players permission to decorate, I wonder if they can place armor stands of themselves in your homestead. Also with their infusions. Set up a statue for all of your characters with the stoneskin.

Everyone says Rata Sum is the easiest to harvest but I honestly find the Black Citadel home instance easier. It flows better.

Black Citadel is also a really nice one as well. My usual second choice if I need a change of pace.
