What a brilliant story and an example of how government overreach can and will destroy not just a family but a way of living in order to make you subservient to the system.

When government can put you out of business without proof or simply because their donors complain you are taking money from them in competing with their business that government has too much power.

YEP, THAT'S WHY THE GOVERNMENT STOLE US 6 FROM MY GROWING INNOCENT FAMILY, IN THE 1060S BECAUSE WE WERE LIVING OFF-GRID MINUS ELECTRICITY... MY DAD HAD A SINGING; WORKING BAND, THAT THEY TOOK THE MUSIC FROM HIS SOUL WHEN THEY STOLE HIS 6 BABIES WHILE HE WAS ON HIS WAY, DRIVING HOME FROM SINGING ON THE GRAND OLE OPRY FOR THE FIRST TIME...

What an amazing story and example of faith in the Lord and His plan, not to mention a sobering reminder of how we have we have handed way too much power to the government that is supposed to serve us and protect our God-given rights. Thank you Nick for bringing us this story and Joel for being willing to share his knowledge. Can’t wait to learn more from both of you.

Oh, man! What an inspiring real-life story from Joel, that makes you think deeply about our current farming system and bureaucracy. This is why we need change for the better to make agriculture more sustainable for our kids and the coming generations. Great interview. Keep going, guys.

THE POWER AND CONTROL FREAKS KEEP PEOPLE FROM SEEING THESE TRUE RESPONSES WHEN YOU ARE ON THE GOVERNMENT BLACK LIST... LIKE I AM... AND SO I BELIEVE JOEL IS ON THAT SAME LIST AS I MOST CERTAINLY AM : THEY USE, AND PAY STATE WORKERS TO MAKE FALSE COMMENTS, AND WRITE LIES ON THE PEOPLE TO KEEP PEOPLE FROM FOLLOWING... FEAR FACTOR!!!

So, in this method do you give vacine or shots? For instance, polio vacine- everyone seems ok with. Covid vacine not so much. Do you deworm or is there one vacine/shot that you give yiur animals?
@margaretanton1680
@margaretanton1680 7 ай бұрын
Joel says in his books that there have been only 2 occasions where he had to vaccinate his animals for anything, once for chickens and once for cattle. Both times he later discovered the disease problem was a result of a mistake he made, which he later corrected. So he doesn't regularly vaccinate his animals, as his management style is fairly effective at preventing disease.

Joel is so appealing on the Clean Food and organic info, but his history is weak. All that "noble savage" stuff is ludicrous (which he repeats in various public speeches). The Indians lived to an average lifespan of 25. Does Mr. Salatin not know this? Does he not know that he tribes warred with each other, in brutal massacres? Does he not know that most of them lived a near-starvation life and had a very high infant mortality? That "Noble Savage" stuff just does not fly.
