Kevin that was an deep and honest confession. You know in your heart if you believe in something strong enough and work toward that belief it will come true. She gave you such a great suggestion to write true stories that would be a heart filled account of life events that occurred. She knew you are an excellent story teller if the recollection was true. The pen was just a vehicle to keep you telling true stories. Steven King and his amazing mind of writing believable fiction and your love of him made this Witch Doctors warnings of never writing fiction with this pen so up front and center with you when that small town/village flooded. This was just a natural occurrence.......At the time she gave you that warning you were in a highly suggestible state because of the sheer need to get out of the circumstances you were experiencing. Essentially you were in a hypnotic state and therfore her suggestion that the pen had this incredible malicious power if used for anything but truth was driven into your mind. Years ago I received my Hypnotherapist Lisence so I feel it would be in your best interest to go and see one of these professionals to get this damage undone.

Humans are capable of doing many things they do not realize. I too did something early in my adult life that has haunted me ever since. I never spoke of it until recently, and then only to a couple of good friends. I did/do not know who to look to for help, so I buried it deep in my mind and got on with my life. Now, forty-six years later I know the damage has been done. Don't get me wrong I also enjoyed good times from what I did as well. I have come to believe that no human has the ability to help me with what I did. God is the answer!

That was a great story! I believe things happen for a reason. Why they do only God knows. I know you are hinting that you are responsible for any tragedies that might have happened from using that pen but I don't think so. Don't forget you didn't write this article with the thought that you could cause harm to anyone. So, I would keep being the honest and good person that I believe you to be and things will turn out fine. Besides, you can always reach out to God for peace of mind.

Have you thought about taking the stories you have written with the pen ...and the pen if you still have it..and burning them and as they burn tell the Lord you are sorry for the deal you made with the witch doctor and plead the Blood of Jesus over the situation and ask Him for His mercy and to reverse any curses that might be connected with the stories written with it and any soul ties that might have been made with the witch doctor at the time of the 'deal' ? Stephen King was in Love with her and wanted to marry he when they were in High School, she was not interested, but wished she had married him...this was many many years before I was ever born. Unfortunately, just like the story of Adam and Eve eating the apple, us humans have to try to out think what we are told.
