No, never said Johne’s was endemic in our herd, none of these cows have tested positive and we do regular testing. We have delt with disease in the past, but we regularly monitor and mitigate for disease control.

During my pregnancies I always crave milk too! Can just chug the stuff. Also I lol'd pretty hard about having to say "vulva". Doesn't matter how many videos I make about calving/breeding/etc. I always feel like I'm in 7th grade health class having to say it.😆

I think the expression about being happy as a clam is because a clam's shells come together and it looks like a smile.

The full phrase is "Happy as a clam at high water." Meaning safe and having what you need to thrive. Clams get collected by fishermen and predators at low tide.

Pretty standard not to, at least at their scale in the US. Not sure about the places with hundreds or thousands of cows though
