**To the Aradia Megido that asked me where I got my wig** (Sorry I cant directly tag you in this, I couldnt reply to your comment, and I could find your profile amungst the sea of other Aradia Megidos) I got my wig on amazon, I typed in "Short black wig" and what came up was an Izaya wig. I bought it, cut and styled it myself, made the horns with Crayola Model Magic, and screwed them on the wig myself with a power drill, a small screw, superglue, and a tiny piece of felt

For my fem! Karkat I actually used an eyeliner pencil for the freckles. They ended up staying all day so if someone doesn't have acrylic paint that can be another option

acrylic! D: even though its a small amount, its probably safer to use eyeliner, liquid eyeliner would probably work better than the normal kind though.

I only met one homestuck cosplayer at the phoenix comicon and it was eridan (I was still so excited and his cosplay and the way he acted was just like eridan) so I hugged him then cried because I remembered what happened to him and felt bad even though it was all fake and he was a cosplayer.. umm, for the hair under I wig cap thin, you could try like, moving your hair around so its more even and doesn't make the wig look as awkward. it helps a bit

try putting them in two braids and pin them to your head! it helps cover up your hair very well after the wig cap is on

Section your hair off and brain them, then wrap and pin them around your head. When you do that the braids should tame most volume and pack your hair down in the cap easier

I'd recommend using a glue stick on your eyebrows if you are going to draw eyebrows bigger that urs, I'm reely into special effects so I kno from experience. Also I LOVE your karcrab makeup, you are just the cutest lil thing and I wanna hug u soooo baaaaaad!!

Sorry for the late comment. Some people's skin tones don't work with the paint well. Sorry for the late reply. Personally, I use Snazaroo everywhere (at least 3 layers), but I make sure to use moisturizer beforehand so it doesn't look dry or cause acne. I also use a layer of baby powder afterward the paint and sealing to make it look more "natural" and to make it stay better.

Hello! For me, yes, Snazaroo in light grey is a good color. I tried to base it as close as possible to cannon troll color. But I know that there are many headcannons out there for different grey shades of trolls. So honestly, its up to you! There are many different makeup brands that sell grey facepaint so I say explore a bit and see what you like!

Aw thanks :') People ask me a lot about cosplay advice and the biggest thing I can say is Be Patient. Especially with a lower cosplay budget (aka me) because this is not my first time doing troll cosplay. Or my 5th. Or my 10th. You pick up little things as you go along to improve your cosplay like a new wig, better makeup, etc. and you go from there. I painted the Karkat shirt I wore an hour before I filmed this video. But yeah be patient but also still have fun! The first time I cosplayed a troll was a disaster but it's still a good memory. I believe you'll do great cosplaying and let me know if you have any other questions I love answering them!

+FunkyDogXD I made the horns! And the time differs depending on your level of satisfaction. I bought Crayola Model Magic clay and I shaped the horns myself. Then you let them dry so you can paint them. Then I let that dry and then I sealed it with Mod Podge (great stuff). Then I screwed them onto my wig! The whole process takes only a couple of hours, but like I said it depends. Im the kind of person where I'll start COMPLETELY over if I dont like how they look. So sitting down with some paint, clay, and the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and you should be golden :)

Hello there! Unfortunately, I do not have a video on how I made my Karkat sweater. But I can tell you :D I just bought a cheap black sweat shirt and grey acrylic paint. I printed out a Cancer symbol from online and cut out the symbol to make a stencil. I layed my shirt flat, put a piece of cardboard on the inside of the shirt to keep it flat and to prevent paint going to the back of thr shirt. I lined up and taped my stencil where I wanted and carefully used a paintbrush to paint the symbol on. It took a while because I didnt want to make mistakes, and it also took a few coats. But after that, let it dry and BOOM. Karkat shirt. Hopefully this helps, as this us how I make all my HS shirts if I dont buy them
