This video covers about a quarter of the panels from Homestuck Act 5 Act 2, which was posted from September 19, 2010 through October 25th, 2011. It also contains Intermission 2.

@@Iusethis4comments When I was making this video ~5 years ago, I accidentally grabbed the wrong video of Cascade when editing, and used Voxus's Let's Read Homestuck version instead, so Snowman says "What are you waiting for? Draw, Spades." instead of it just being text. Definitely unintentional on my end, but there's nothing I can do about it now.

When I originally edited it, I put the first file in that said "Cascade", but later after rendering the video it turns out it was the Let's Read video that I had downloaded at some point. Too lazy to replace it, I said "what the hey" and uploaded it anyways. :B I was pretty lazy with this one.

Huh, this deep into the video series and I can really see why Homestuck became as big as it did at its peam. The deeper I get into these recaps, the more I'm compelled to know what happens next, and the consistent upgrades with each cutscene animations is amazing to watch! I might be confused here and there, but I'm hooked!

I'm probably going to be doing Act 6.1 through 6.3 (Part 1) here in the next week! I finally have time to record and edit, so I'm shooting for an 11/11 release with it. Hopefully I can go all the way through the Credits by April, and maybe by then we'll have an Epilogue that I can summarize as well!

The Unofficial Homestuck Collection is the current best way to read Homestuck thanks to how butchered and ad-filled the Homestuck website is now. Also, heads up, they never finished publishing a print version of Homestuck. So you'll have to switch to digital eventually 😅

I think that a session needs both a time player and a space player in order to bear fruit time player for if they fuck up so they can reset the session and space so they can make their universe (Edit: they don't need a time player in order to bear fruit, they just need to make sure they dont fuck up)

She's the witch of space, so it's her job to breed the Genesis Frog, which is the next universe. That's the biggest reason she's important to the plot.

CookieFox Draws No, he is in fact a mutated version of Lime bloods. In the story they do explain that there were a species of lime bloods who can do amazing powers. But they were killed off due to the Fuchsia Queen (can’t spell her name) not wanting the powers to be used. Karkat is the only Lime blood in Homestuck but even then he is like an outcast of outcasts.

How did rose and Dave ascend to God tier? It still confused me

They flew Derse's Moon to the location of the Green Sun with the intent of destroying it, and thus destroying Lord English. To do this, they took The Tumor from Skaia and placed it in the center of Derse's Moon, where their Sacrificial Slabs were (basically Quest Beds, but in the center of their dream moon, and they don't require a second self to work). However, they were tricked. The Tumor is a bomb "containing" both the human and troll universes that explodes when the two universes end "simultaneously". The explosion kills Dave and Rose, who are standing on their Sacrificial Slabs, and creates the Green Sun (because time in the Furthest Ring is wonky, and while they were at the right place, they were at the wrong time... or technically, the right time, since they were always meant to create the Green Sun). Dave and Rose dying on their Sacrificial Slabs rises them up to God Tier, and they rise up through the Green Sun, which can't kill them since that wouldn't be a Just or Heroic death.

It's part of Flare (Cascade), the songs that make up the Cascade animation and the 13 minute song called "Cascade" are Cascade (Beta), Flare, Savior of the Dreaming Dead, Black Hole/Green Sun. Apparently that segment isn't actually in the released "Flare", only in the Cascade version, I didn't realize that until now.
