Look I'm not saying Eridan did nothing wrong, what I AM saying is that I can forgive him 🥺 He is exactly what alternian violets are meant to be, but that's not who he needs to be anymore. He cares about people, he believes in them. The Prince of Hope was dealt a bad hand that he was still convinced he could win with. When he finally admitted that he couldn't, everyone had already abandoned him. He had no right to their friendship, but he never really stopped trying :( I'm not saying that Feferi or Sollux or anyone should have given him a chance, but I could have in their shoes. I could have saved him, even when no one else could 🥺 Part of me really thinks that if everything didn't get as bad as it did, Karkat would've become Eridan's moirail, or something else pale. Karkat could've saved Eridan.
