I know this is kind of a new thing people are doing with baking soda but you can do the same thing with spackle and it takes paint quite well

Will this glue and baking soda attract bugs
@Lois2of36 ай бұрын
@@asktheconcretecountessGood question. Some bugs are attracted to specific things - like, I know roaches *love* any kind of adhesive (so avoid using contact paper on your shelves if your home is susceptible to those stinkers). I know they make a powder to sprinkle into exterior paint to make it bug repellent, so that might be a good idea in bug-prone areas.

I really am disappointed in this new “trend” going on now to watch someone show you a cute idea they have only to be “trashed” by some people being very un-nice and critiquing what the person has shown us and telling us what THEY would do instead! These kind souls are just showing us an idea they had for decor, or a re-style, and we can take it or leave it. We could also think to ourselves how we might tweak it this way, or add that, and that’s fine, but you don’t need to tell everyone, do you? You can make your DIY channel and share your ideas there. You aren’t being asked to give your 2 cents or tell someone what you’d do. It’s pretty rude to go along & to each lovely idea & do this “hit job”. And it seems if one person does it, everyone else of this same mentality also decides they’ll do the same! Very nasty in my opinion. Take what you like from a project & do it the way you want. You do NOT need to add any helpful hints, unless they actually ARE helpful & not mean! Get your own YT channel if you want to be the boss, please.

Very well, said people share ignorance, not intelligence they share hate, not joy, and that's what I see happening how foolish to take something down because they didn't think of it or because they couldn't present it. I appreciate every artist out there I may not do the same type of work, but if it makes you happy, enjoy it.
Thats what art is about,critiquing it. How do you expect to become better at what you do without critique? Its something i learned in art class

You read my mind. Yesterday I wanted to do a project with textured paint but we live 1 1/2 hours from Hobby Lobby. This will work perfectly - and a whole lot cheaper. Thanks again, and I think this, and maybe a couple of others, would look fantastic above a bed. And they're so cheap to make, you could change them out with the seasons. I change my spreads and cheap drapes 4 or 5 times a year and - OH BOY, I'm on a roll, where's my baking soda?
