I have never thought of this and I use pool noodles for everything, behind my back in the car, under my back on the floor, etc. But, I never thought of decorating with them. I immediately thought of a table runner type thing along the back of a table for a birthday or baby or wedding shower! Great ideas!

The negative comments are unnecessary. Who cares where the items were purchased? It wasn’t your money being spent. Who cares if it collects dust? It’s not in your house and you’re not maintaining it. Yes exactly! These craft items are not for me but they do so much remind me of my sweet great aunt and that makes me smile. She didn't have much money but her home was always festively decorated for every holiday with items she crafted from repurposed household items like dish detergent bottles, bottle caps and milk cartons. Every Christmas she crocheted scarves and hats for every single member of our very large family. Every newborn received a blanket. She has been gone for 30 years and we still pull out those hats to wear on Christmas Day and those blankets are now heirlooms! She would have enjoyed this type of content. Thank you for posting.

This is a quick and reasonably priced idea! Adapted seasonally and easy to put up and take down. It can be done as cheaply or as sophisticated as you can imagine…❤

These are most useful ideas that are given with clear and brief instructions! The overhead decor rod is so versatile whether at home, school, party or private use! And for those who live in small, or large spaces, the plant tree is delightful!! And the thing is, I’ve been wanting to do add vertices interest to a couple of spaces in my home and this will be perfect❣️. My hubby will be delighted as well, since I already have all the items in my storage stash!! WIN, WIN

For all you miserable nay sayers: most of us gained some good ideas from the demonstrations. I don't know what I would do without the tacky, dust-catching fake flowers I have lost two sons, and every season I make large (fake flower) arrangements for their Graves. I'm grateful for people who devote their time to share their ideas .

Same as Joannne said, as a mom of three boys and my first grandchild on the way (yep another boy lol) it’s something I’m scared to death of going through and have been so nervous about what ifs with my grandson coming… I can’t even imagine, I am so sorry for your losses and I’m sure your “fake flower - dust catching” creations are beautiful and I’m sure ur boys love every single one you’ve made! (Also wanna say ik having boys doesn’t change the feeling or make a difference of someone who has daughters or both, just wanted to add that they’re boys cause, they’re my everything.. or maybe to share similarities… maybe I was just showing off? I wish he showed how it held at the floor (the tension rod plant hanger). I'm guessing it is screwed to the floor for stability. I'm putting down LVP flooring and don't want to put holes in it...but I might bc I love,love,love that plant hanger bar.

I can see using the tension rod/pool-noodle idea for something to hang Christmas stockings from. A pretty garland from Hobby Lobby or other craft store, decorated and stockings added. Could be decorated as simply or as elaborately as desired would be pretty! Thanks for the inspiration!😊

The pool noodle tricks are really beautiful, but that hanging rope trick at the end is awesome! I saw it once used as a way to carry containers of water, etc., in a survival situation. It's a great trick to know how to create a sturdy way to carry a jug or whatever easier than having to use both hands on the task. Thank you for all the information.

I can see this same method being used to create a beautiful decoration to go down the center of any holiday table. The idea shown is for easter, but you could do something gorgeous for Christmas as well. It could also be the basis for a fireplace mantel holiday garland.

Tension rods are good for many things. I put two in my RV shower. One centered over the shower head against the opposite wall so I can clip various things up there that need to be dried. One over the shower doors onto which I hook things that don't fit on the door rail. I also have plants situated around, but mine are fake. So I don't have to water them. Nice ideas for people who need a project.

Because we can’t all afford expensive faux flowers and beautiful TikTok lighting ideas. This economically efficient idea could be used for weddings just by using a white pool noodle and loads of cream, white and green florals with some fairy lights or whatever color works for your event. Thinking of how to use this for Christmas with some florals and shatterproof ornaments from the DT!

I think I'll use the pool noodle idea in combination with the Christmas garland idea for the Christmas season 2024. The noodle will add bulk for me to wrap on a bunch of stuff I have on hand. My arch is quite high, so I need something a bit more substantial in size. I like the ceiling mounted plant hanging pole for my greenhouse. Thanks for sharing these clever ideas.

I honestly love both these ideas! I want to do the plant hanger in my bathroom and the pool noodle thing is brilliant imo. So easy and affordable to switch things out seasonally or for holidays.
