Your second half of this Quilt video was even better than the first one. You’re calm, but yet you could see the under lying excitement you have for peoples quilts. That is such a complement those Quilter’s and I’m thinking very seriously about sending you one of mine, because I love the way you choose the style and threads and I love the fact that you admit to being human. I love that you’re a good Christian woman and by the way that little Widows walk on the pink house just made it perfect. Thank you for sharing

I love seeing the talented quilters and their quilts. The pink house with the "gated top" - the architectural element is called a widow's walk. Lori's designs are very thoughtful and a work of art. I would love to try the Bluebird house. I love Eastern Bluebirds.

Oh my, Tammie, these are some fabulous quilts this week! The amount of work that went into so many of them is mind boggling. The Lori Holt quilt is so beautiful but all of that appliqué (which is not my favorite to do) is so much work buy with fabulous results. Lots of work on all of them today and I love them all. The peacock wall hanging is gorgeous and I agree that the pantograph truly enhanced it even more, great choice. These are so inspiring, and I truly appreciate all of your hard work that went into each one to finish off the complete look that they have. Thank you for sharing and for such inspiration…………….

Thank you for your conversation on quilting tonight! For us that don’t have a long arm, it helps to understand what the quilters have to deal with. I feel my long armer does a very good job. I am not sure that she picks designs that have to be lined up and that is fine with me! I think they look pretty! I do appreciate her work! The quilts you showed are magnificent! I am sure you do enjoy seeing all the variety!

On the house quilt, is her machine applique a zig zag stitch or a blanket stitch or a straight stitich. I can't tell, she did an amazing job!

It's so fun to see the same quilts in your videos that I have also made! I sewed along with Corey Yoder too to make Sunny Patches. I have the Peacock panel and some accompanying Peacock Flourish fabrics only mine has a white background. Nope, not made yet. 😅I'll put a note with my fabrics to use the iKat pantograph. Thanks! All the quilts were beautiful and Hometown was definitely a labor of Love! I appreciate all the time and information you put into your videos.

Tammie, did you have to use a special foot for the Hometown quilt so it doesn't catch on some oddball spots? Also, I've always wondered what stitch length you normally use. Your quilting is just so meticulous. I love it!

Hi Tammie! Great video. Thanks for mentioning the batting choices. Still a bit confused about how each batting feels and drapes. Which batting snuggles and drapes better - the 80/20 or the 100% cotton? Thanks for your answer and your videos. Love, love the Hometown quilt. Just purchased fabrics and supplies for making one, myself. Finally couldn’t resist any longer😂!

Hi! Love your channel. I also have the Amara 20 and love it. So far I have only done E2E quilting. I am ready to tackle some semi-custom quilting. I have a few panel quilts that would really look much better without stitching over faces, etc. do you have any tips? I get the ruler work and Pro Stitcher. I’m just afraid my free hand quilting will look like a toddler did it!

Practice! Practice! Draw and doodle on a marker board with the marker held in your fist similar to how you hold the handlebars on your machine. Practice the same movements over and over so that you gain that muscle memory. Lay a piece of clear acetate over your quilt panel and audition your design choices by drawing with dry erase markers on the acetate. Just be careful not to go off the edge! 😳
