I went to school with this guy. When I think back to those days, I recall seeing him walking around the campus randomly. He was always outside. Never in class, meetings, or the cafeteria. He would just roam around the campus in his flip flops. He was a cheerleader too. Thankfully, tho, he never murdered any students. He sparred us. We were all truly blessed! This is mind bottling. You just never know what monster you may have amongst you. RIP to all victims ❤ Great documentary, very local.

I surely managed to get myself into some very risky situations though, & it's only by the grace of God that I didn't end up in a ditch somewhere. I drove my poor mom crazy. It's no wonder that she needed to take "nerve pills" as she called them. I'm glad she lived long enough to see me grow up & get my shit together. Thankfully, she only ever knew about a small percentage of my stupid antics. I had two older brothers, & my mom always said that raising me was harder than raising both of them. She was a wonderful woman, & I'm blessed to have had her for a mother. May she rest in peace with the knowledge that I'm doing well.

@@JohnSmith-of8iy- Daytona being a shit hole is not the fault of gay people or a dating app for the LGBTQ+ community. What a bigoted & inappropriate statement. Daytona started to steadily decline & get more seedy & unsafe back in the mid 1990’s. Not because of the gay community either.🤦🏻♀️ The drugs, drinking, prostitution, crime, & general unkempt nature of the town were the far bigger problem. In fact, gay people in a community tend to invest in property, start businesses, start families, be educated & gainfully employed, & more. A perfect example of a beach town that had started to slowly but steadily decline & become more seedy sort of like Daytona Beach is Rehoboth Beach, DE. The gay community from the DC/MD/VA area started vacationing there in the mid 1980’s & then steadily building &/or buying homes, shops & restaurants. They invested in beautification of their properties & the town as a whole. They also became involved in town & county politics & public service. When you go to Rehoboth Beach today, it is such a charming, pretty, well-kept town, w/ a thriving economy & community of people who live there full-time or all summer. Tourism is at a high level, especially for families. Please don’t be so quick to judge others just because you don’t accept or understand a person being gay. Being gay isn’t a “lifestyle choice,” as too many still claim. Educate yourself, please. Did you choose to be heterosexual or did you just know you were from the time you were a teen? Same thing for those who are gay.

My heart really goes out to these officers. They do so much, every day, to Amel sure we are all safe and that the laws are being abided by and deserve our respect so much and the media allows things like, defund the police" to even be spoken ! I cannot imagine having to do their job, day in, day out, for very little pay. These are sons, daughters, siblings, parents, friends of people just like anyone else. It is definitely a calling, like teaching, preaching, the service. It's surely not for the pay, or accolades. They have a job to do, that is important and needed. They are included in my prayers always. ❤ 🙏

Nothing good ever comes from alcohol and drugs. It's a losing game. A gamble with a sure lose. And no one is*tough," against the evil.

Let me think, he wasn’t a suspect but he bought the correct weapon, claimed he gave it to mom, then claimed it was stolen! That’s called a series of clues guys

0:33 The cop equating "animal" with sick, sadistic, and scumbag is a scumbag himself for dragging animals into it. For one thing we are all animals and that's not a bad thing. And another thing, other non-human animals are not sick, sadistic scumbags. Only humans are.

Why would they just take his word in the beginning that he gave the gun to his mother. They should’ve followed up on that. They could’ve had him a lot sooner. Unbelievable.

Detectives/cops are not dedicated to families of victims. They are dedicated to their egos. It's an 'us vs them' game to cops.

I live here. Daytona is a crime ridden s**t hole. Outside of the beach and racetrack there isn't much here. Way more places along either coast that are better suited for family vacations.
