I’ve heard a lot a crime cases over the years and this has to be one of the very worst in term of sheer cruelty. Every bit of it is upsetting from her feeling excited to go to a sleepover, the torture that she endured, her almost escaping, to the neighbors not calling the police. This is one of those you wish you were in the right place at the right time to be able to save her. This poor girl deserved to live a happy life free of pain and violence. this is very well-written tribute to the victim and her family. So often I worried about a schoolmate in similar situation. As a kid, I often found her bullied and harassed by classmates and defended her, but really do not know how much abuse she endured when there was nobody to protect her. She was really sweet, kind kid who just wanted a little respect and acceptance like anyone else and couldn't understand why I would take the risk to defend her against a group of bullies. She was just lovely kid who didn't deserve any abuse but unable to defend herself.

What a ghastly fate for this poor girl. Just because she was so trusting and wanted to be friends. A very similar thing happened£ to a young woman here in England. She was very trusting and just wanted to be friends. The gang she hung around with tormented and hurt her, then, on the pretext of walking her home (after just about tort*ring her) they took her to a deserted cycle path and mur*ered her. There is CCTV footage of her actually walking with them……..to her de*th. Poor innocent souls. May they rest in peace and may their families find comfort and solace.

I love how these videos start describing the beautiful surroundings, as if monsters aren't born or created in these kinds of environment, as any other.

My heart broke and tears followed watching such a bright beautiful soul a child my all means. Those are the beautiful ones that make me want to keep living. The ones that walk into a room and instantly light it up. My deepest thoughts and prayers for her sister and family. I am so sorry that there are monsters in this world .

As someone with a special needs child who is 27 years old, he would NEVER be going out with an impeding storm! His "friends" would just have to go on without him! 😢

Sounds kind of like victim blaming. The storm doesn’t matter, the human garbage that murdered her doea

This is so so sad and totally insane. Yes I agree; I can’t get 6 people to agree to come to dinner. 😢

They were all special needs adults who met at the adult day care center.
