Homeward bound through the coastal towns and villages of Brittany

It's coming to the end of our 5 week early retirement roadtrip in our VW campervan. After weeks of mountain and beach adventures, we explore the beautiful and ancient medieval towns of Brittany as we head further north. We find some hidden and not-so-hidden gems of the region that you really must discover for yourselves.

Thanks so much, really informative, we haven't plucked up the courage to wild camp yet in our campervan, hopefully we will one day. We're always litter picking wherever we go, it would be the same if we wild camp, leave no trace.

The Aire at Dinan is great and totally allowed, they open up the field for the summer and it is free 🚐 we do choose quite carefully where we wild camp using park4night app and search for sites app. A lot of the little villages have a carpark you can use and they are very friendly - you can tell from the reviews usually. In the UK it is harder to find places, particularly since covid. Happy travels x

The french coast and Brittany were lovely. Some of the campsites were getting busy by the beginning of July and we were lucky to get pitches as we didn’t book. If you are travelling before mid July or after the end of august it is worth getting an ACSI card which you order on line as the discounts are considerable

I have had a look on the map - I think it is Plage de Kerloc'H
