yup what you said is true. I feel that homework is just a waste of time and gives you extra stress you don't need. Like if it's a nice day out and family or friends say they wanna do something, you should be able to go and enjoy yourself rather then be stressfully trying to enjoy yourself. The only time I feel that homework is necessary is when you need more time to work on something or when you don't understand something. Also I hate it with a passion especially when you really do your homework and the teacher doesn't check it or say it wasn't for marks but made it seem it was!!!

Homework is a thing because it refreshes your mind on what you need to learn tommorow. that's why. But READING homework is just ridiculous and sure, it might help you fall asleep, but a lot of teachers like to assign certain books and sometime there REALLY boring, literally, my 5th Grade teacher gave the most boring book I ever read in my LIFE. But yea I agree on reading, but math and stuff like that, it's fun for me!
