It's really a shame to knock down this building that's only 14 years old. Still modern by today's standard. Also, not much of it salvaged so it all turned to waste. Tax dollars at work!

Absolutely Disgusting. Most of this stuff could be saved and reused

The crazy thing about it is that the building that this building that he tearing down replaced, still exists a couple of blocks south and is still being used as a Catholic school today. Kids are still learning in the building that this building replaced, but they have to tear this building down. At least the builders and demolition contractors are making money off the government waste. That is the only good thing about it.

Keep up the interior POV shots! Btw, that school district must have a lot of money; Imagine demolishing a building that's barely over 10 years old and modern by today's standards. Seemed like a decent and nice-looking library. That rebuilt building barely passed the break in period lol
@kenlahmers9648 Жыл бұрын
Who are the boobs on that district's school board who would raze a building that's only a dozen years old? If I'd live in that district I'd never vote in favor of another levy. Bunch of school board idiots....

I wonder if the local community tax payers were refunded for the terrible decision making and lack of foresight from the school board administration. I obviously don't know the details; however, this (in my opinion) in inexcusable! This is a multi-million dollar building, and it's sad to see it come to this. Computer monitors, chairs, filing cabinets could have all been easily removed and donated. Not it's in a landfill benefiting no one. On another note, GREAT content! I've asked for interior shots in the past, and you delivered! Well done. You are not to blame for the government decisions to demolish this building, but you sure do make some enjoyable content to watch.

computer monitors, furniture,lockers and just so much stuff that could be saved that is wasted. The light fixtures alone can be saved and alot could be donated to a place like restore run by habitat for humanity for a tax write off or the scholl could get a few of those storage boxes and reuse a ton of stuff and save tax payers a ton of money just to turn it into more parking 😢

SCHOOL WRECKER!!! That wood window paneled divider wall is (was) awesome. I’d love to repurpose that piece! There are so many materials here that could be repurposed and salvaged rather than wasted. All of those quality desk chairs - dang. And, so many good, quality doors which could be repurposed (donated to Habitat for Humanity). But, since this has to be crushed - HAVE FUN!!! Okay, I enjoyed the two camera views on this one. They wouldn’t let you do this demo while school was in session? 😂 😂 😂

@@RonnocbotNo doubt. Our local school district would not have been so wasteful . Despite their shortcomings, they are good at repurposing resources. So many good resources could (and should) be donated to Habitat for Humanity, too.

Can't believe your smashing all items that could be salvaged the wood trim < chairs , doors ect, What a shame ! If I was a tax payer in that district I would raise H--L with the school District a real crying shame !!!! The price of lumber in today's world it would of been worth it to salvage the building and contents before you smashed it ! For me I was thinking this would be great if you had 4 cameras. 1 on a overview of the outside, 2 on the inside, 3 on the cab and the fourth one at the top of the forward boom facing down at the bucket, if it can survive😆.. In editing, switch between the 4. Im not a professional what so ever. Just a thought. I appreciate your vids. Thanks✌️🍻👍

In my hometown they are demolishing the old Jr high and high school buildings. In seven days, they only demolished six classrooms (single story) and the library with two big excavators. The library isn't as big as this one in this video. I watched them and they are moving very slow, and they are working all day and five days a week. Why are they moving very slowly? I don't know. Any comments?

For recycling to be profitable there has to be a demand. It costs money to send a crew in, just the insurance. In places where there are lot of buildings over 100 years there are more recycling opportunities. I recycle like I am an old Yankee. [I am an old Yankee.]

What an incredible waste of a good building. And of all the contents! Whoever did the asset stripping of that building should be fired. SO much good stuff left behind. And NONE of the electronic equipment should have been left in there; it should all have been removed and donated or recycled responsibly. Not left to be smashed up and mixed in with construction debris. Absolutely unacceptable. This should have been taken care of before you guys were contracted for the final demolition.
