Nowadays the cross became ordinary commercial or fashion items and decorations. It used to be sacred and bears the icon of the Crucified hence called Crucifix. My imagination sees in the Crucifix Jesus' with wide arms beckoning as if He is saying "Come ... I will give you rest.!"

Ask ko lng po regarding sa explanation ng "Jesus descended into hell". Para po kasing ang message is may hope sa damned in hell. Sabi po sa catechism, there are two kinds of hell in the ancient tradition. Hindi po ata sa hell ng damned pumunta si Jesus kundi sa mga blessed souls who died before Christ came. Pakilinaw lang po. Salamat. And hell is eternal at wala na pong pagasa ang mga pupunta sa impyerno.

Yun pong statement sa 15:28 na "Kung saka sakaling mahulog tayo sa impiyerno, hell is not beyond the reach of God." Bishop, ibig sabihin po ba pag ang tao ay nabulid sa impiyerno ay may pagasa pa siyang maligtas? Pasensiya na po sa pagtatanong, kailangan Lang pong malinawan sa akin ito. Salamat po.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church states that hell is eternal damnation. No more hope for those in hell. As Dante puts it in his Inferno, "Abandon all hope, ye who enter here (hell)."
