On this Fourth Sunday of Advent, Year C, 2024, we reflect on the theme: “The Power of God Manifests Itself through Weakness.” The readings remind us of God’s extraordinary ability to use the humble and the ordinary to accomplish His divine purposes.
From Micah’s prophecy of Bethlehem, the insignificant town chosen for the Savior’s birth, to Mary’s humble “yes” to God, we see that greatness is found not in wealth or status but in obedience, humility, and trust in God.
Join us as we explore how this Advent message calls us to let Christ’s power shine through our weaknesses, preparing our hearts to welcome Him this Christmas.
📖 Readings:
• Micah 5:2-5a
• Psalm 80:1ab+2, 14-15, 17-18 (R.3)
