It is basically the same in HOMM3. If you have a good hero you can win anything.

@@michaljarnot7083 you would not get a hero who doesn't need an army on 2nd map in h3. In h4 very easy, combat+melee+level 3 life magic.

This game took the aspect of "Heroes" a little too close to the heart. I still like it though
