Lorsque je suis née, il aurait pu etre mon père. J'ai vécu avec lui de loin, par les medias, les films. Il fait partie de cette génération d'artistes et d'hommes, qui me rassurait, solides, francs, virils. Alain Delon avait du panache, de la courtoisie dans l'altitude, le geste, la parole, pour qui lui prodiguait du respect. Ill avait en lui de la noblesse, quelque chose d'au dessus du commun. Il portait en lui tout le tragique d'être homme, qui nous fait osciller entre le bien et... le mal. Il lassumait tout, il était lui-même et donc au dessus de tout. Lorsque je l'ai vu prendre Romy Schneider dans ses bras à la fin du film La piscine, appliquer sa main sur ses cheveux et pousser doucement sa tête sur sa poitrine, jai ressenti une infinie tendresse virile et protectrice. Cet homme aimait véritablement les femmes, avec passion. Il a causé une peine immense à celles qu'il a quittées, mais il leur a toujours gardé une gratitude infinie. Quoiqu'on dise. Les femmes le lui rendent bien aujourd’hui. Il fait partie dune génération dhommes qui me manque infiniment aujourdhui. Mille mercis Alain Delon d'avoir existé et de nous laisser votre force de caractère en héritage. Vous êtes un grand seigneur.

Beautiful compilation, thank you. We can feel lucky to have been contemporary to the unforgettable M. Alain Delon and all the great actors, actresses who were his partners in films of the golden age of French (and all European) cinema. What a treat we had back than, even on the left side of the iron curtain, when there was a new cinema release of a French, or Italian production almost every week. I remember, as a young kid, I went to see The Black Tulip and The Adventurers several times at the nearest cinemas. Wonderful memories! The talented, gorgeously handsome Alain Delon, with his soft manly voice, will stay forever in my heart!
