Dans la Belle au Bois dormant, elle embarque l'épée de l'un des princes dans son tutu et la lui rend avec grâce comme si ça avait été répété mille fois ! C'est une goutte d'eau dans son interprétation géniale de ce rôle mais ça montre les nerfs d'acier de la miss (no) !

Exactement, elle a réagi comme si cet incident faisait partie de la chorégraphie. Des nerfs et une volonté d'acier. Elle était unique!

Il y a d’excellentes danseuses mais aucune encore comme SG.

La séquence d'ouverture est extraordinaire...SG fût une incroyable danseuse, de ses débuts à ses adieux. Quel dommage qu'elle ne transmette pas son savoir aux danseurs de l'opéra de Paris qui sont pour la plupart bien ternes en comparaison.

Wonderful tribute to the incomparable Sylvie: the greatest female dancer in living memory. Musicality, physical and technical perfection above and beyond anyone else, sincerity, profound expression, incredible class! Once you have seen Sylvie in a role, it is very difficult to see it with others. Every single movement of Sylvie in her great roles (Manon, Marguerite, Month in the country, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Don Quixote, Winter Dreams, Bolero, Grand pas classique) is so strongly imprinted into my memory that I see Sylvie dancing in my mind while watching others - as much as I avoid seeing her ballets after her retirement...

No comparison possible! Fonteyn was a great ballerina, I saw her on stage once, but had neither the musicality nor the technical perfection of Sylvie Guillem.
