tanu=(x^3+y^3)/(x-y) try this . This gives you the answer as sin2u

At 31:45 the RHS of 3 no. question(H.W.) should be 1/2sin 2u, I think there is a printing mistake😅

Sir at 31:45 the LHS of 3 no. question(H.W) should be u=tan^-1(x^3+y^3)/(x-y), then only the RHS will be correct

Sir when u decided to partially differentiate the eulers equation wrt 'x' at 41:22 then the other variables must be treated as constant na ....? But u differentiated all of the please kindly explain sir ...🙏

I think you're talking about "u" and del u / del x or del u / del y ... See, x and y are independent variables So when we are differentiating partially any term of y with respect to x then it will be treated as a constant. And vice versa. But u or del u / del x and del u / del y all these are dependent variable and dependent upon both x and y , so you have to differentiate them as well while differentiating w.r.t x or y and have to use the concept of chain rule.
