The level of arrogance and ignorance of this MP is too much. The holy prophet said in him shall we seek the example. There is no evidence that the holy prophet sanctioned this practice for his wives or daughter. No Koranic verse sanctioned it. Supporters of this practice based their arguement on the Hadiths. Remember those Hadiths were compiled close to 200years after the death of the Prophet!! Are they true or false? No one knows. So to say that you are supporting this practice based on religion is the clearest manifestation of IGNORANCE. Is sad.
