Hon. Archibold Cobbina takes office as Ayawaso Central MCE

On Thursday, 13th July 2023, the Former Greater Accra Regional NADMO Director, Hon. Archibold Cobbina was unanimously confirmed by 16 Assembly members as the Municipal Chief Executive of Ayawaso Central after the voluntary resignation of the former MCE, Hon. Mohammed Quaye.
Addressing the public, the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon. Henry Quartey, entreated people to live a life worthy of emulation in other to be remembered when an opportunity arises.
"Whenever you do something in life, do it well, and you will be rewarded when the need arises." Mr Archbold Cobbina began his political career in Ayawaso Central many years ago. He has been elected twice as an Assembly Member, Regional Organizer, and Regional Director of NADMO, thus he deserves to be voted for," Hon. Henry stated.
The Greater Accra Regional Minister, therefore, thanked President Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Vice President and the Chief of Staff for nominating Archbold Cobbina to be confirmed as the Chief Executive Officer for Ayawaso Central Municipal Assembly. The action taken by the outgoing MCE the Greater Accra Minister stated, has deepened the love and respect that people have for him.
Hon. Henry Quartey described Mr Archbold as a hardworking person who is very committed, dedicated, loyal, and humble that cut across and he has a firm belief that he will do a good job to enhance the image of Ayawaso Central.
In an interview, Hon. Archbold Cobbina expressed gratitude to Almighty God for bringing him this far, as well as President Akufo Addo, the Vice President, Chief of Staff, and the Greater Accra Regional Minister for their trust in him to go and serve the good people of Ayawaso Central.
He also appreciates the outgoing MCE, Hon. Mohammed Quaye, for leaving a high standard for him to follow.
