The Ghanaian society is loosing its values. The youth are in a rush to make money illegally. Unfortenately the law enforcement agencies particularly Ghana Police Service that is directly responsible for crime prevention have not lived up to expectation. The growing unemployed youth is risk that the country faces. The Government alone cannot create the needed employment avenues to absorb the increasing unemployed youth, yet employment related crimes continue to plaque private sector investors. It is about time the Ghana Police Service pay much more attention to employment related crimes to encourage investors in the private sector. Once the right signals through swift prosecution and prison term are made by the Police, it will serve as deterrant in the scoceity.
