HoN Top 10 Plays of the Year - 2022

Hey guys. Sad news today as this is officially the last HoN Top 5 Plays of the Week. The developers said the servers were closing down today, and they meant it. People cannot login anymore. Going forward, it seems unlikely that there'll be a viable way to play HoN. HoN was a great game. But what really made HoN enjoyable were the people we played with. I encourage you to reach out to the closest friends you've made in HoN and stay in touch with them, maybe even find a new game to play. As for myself, I've had most of my friends go to either LoL or Dota 2. I think Dota 2 is the most similar to HoN, so I'll be giving it a shot by creating some Dota 2 Top Plays videos. They're probably not gonna be very good, especially at the start, but I'll be making them anyway because it's fun. Yes agreeable it was fun ride with HoN, and felt the bad part was they didnt forsee another game to upgrade themselves, and due to that most of the players went over, and HoN didnt try to continue to pace up which is very sad. Also thank you for all the video contents for the past years, its not easy to maintain the feed of this consistently over the time. It has been a run for 11 years at least.

I haven't played a single game of HoN. But I used to be a wc3 player and I feel the way u feel rigth now. It's all about that moment, that single moment you realize a huge chapter of your life is coming to an end. A chapter with thousands of moments. I am sure HoN was something more than a game for you. Maybe even better than a friend. It was there for you when you were feeling anxious or sad about real life problems. It was there for you when everything went fine and u still wanted to chill and have fun playing your favorite game, having some of the best time of your life. We, gamers of past games, understand each other. But you know what? These kind of games will never be removed from our memories. I will always carry all the memories. I remember back when I had just started playing HoN and I stumbled upon the Top 5 Plays of the week. Just like BreakyCPK casting over at HoNcast, it quickly became something to look forward to each and every week. Never did I think that I would some day pick up the torch and make these weekly highlights of HoN. But here I am after over 100 episodes made and no more to come... It feels weird that this is the end, but at the same time I'm happy to have been part of it. A big thank you to Ninja and the rest of the Scumbag team for inspiring me to make my own content and in the end making me a part of the team! I will always remember this game. I played beta with my bros and close friends and continued until a few years ago. Thanks Scumbag for all the memories. The nostalgia from the music in your vids and its ability to transport me back to memories I thought I had long forgotten is unreal. Hon might be the best game i ever played. Such a steep learning curve game. No tips or tricks. You're just on your own. Having to deal with an incredible amount of toxicity in your solo queues. I don't know. Guess i really like games where it's rough. Can't understand why Hon didn't succeed more compared to LoL. Like it's just a better overall game. The skillcap ceiling in Hon is incredibly high. Thanks for the memories Hon, and thanks to this channel for all the amazing content.
