This is making me wonder one of two things: 1. Kanade didn’t tell Honami the full story about Mafuyu and was probably told something along the lines of “she’s been visiting me afterschool a lot for music making”, thus kind of covering for the reason why Mafuyu is visiting more frequently (when in reality she’s staying with Kanade now) Or 2. Kanade and Mafuyu decided that it was necessary to tell Honami the current situation and why she’s staying at her place, which imo I don’t know if I see that really happening since Mafuyu doesn’t seem like she’s quite ready to tell her fellow peers at school her current situation (ex. Shizuku). But at the same time, Kanade can most likely feel comfortable with trusting Honami with not telling anyone else, but I feel like it may lead her to accidentally spill it to someone like Ichika unintentionally (since she really looks up to Mafuyu). Regardless, Honami does look kind of uncomfortable/worried when Shiho asked why she’s getting so much food, so it can really go both ways. Thanks so much for the translations, it’s really making me look forward to the Niigo event when it does eventually happen!!

i feel like honami sorta knows since in scenes where she's in kanade's house mafuyu shows her true emotionless self and i think it has been confirmed she doesnt exactly know EEVERYTHING and just a simple yanno. mafuyu's struggling a little. maybe idk sniffle

Honami knows Mafuyu stays in Kanade's house (since in one of the events Kanade was seen talking with Honami about it, with Mafuyu not as 'good girl persona' with them). Kanade said she could not say the reason in details, but she asked Honami to understand (btw her payment also doubled). Honami was evidently very worried but after confirming if it is something they can't really talk about, she held back and said, "just tell me if I can help with anything". in the Bday card, she also cooked for Mafuyu and Kanade and ate with them, in which Mafuyu commented she could taste nothing as usual, but it was "very warm". Honami also wondered if Mafuyu had anything she wanted Honami to cook for her Bday. From these event, we can know two things: 1. Honami doesn't know Mafuyu lost her sense of taste, she also doesn't know the exact circumstances and did not inquire further, but has seen and spend time a lot with "real Mafuyu" and not the good girl persona. 2. Honami doesn't even tell her most trusted people (Leo/need) about Mafuyu, even if she is very worried. Which shows how mature she is as a person.

I also want to ask about that first part. I remember watching it on KZbin where Honami came to Kanade's house and Mafuyu was the one who happened to open the door.
