pro tip: if you remove the metal base plate underneath the battery tray (5 bolts)with a long extension you can easily get to the pesky bolt you're talking about that holds the small fuel pipe on

Great video!! On my channel I complain about the same rough idle problem (P0172 error code) which required changing all 4 fuel injectors and fuel rail on my 2018 1.5T Accord. I experienced this issue one year before your post otherwise I may have attemped it myself instead of spending ~$1600 for a mechanic to do the job. Maybe change your PCV valve that can usually cause the engine vibration and hesitation on this specific engine. I did so with mine and it fixed that exact issue.

Great Video!! Helped out a lot for me. Changed the injectors on my 1.5T 2018 Honda CR-V and now it is running better than ever!! Also had the issue of going WOT and it’ll cut off the engine and I would get a blinking CEL.

how many miles was your CRV at? i'm having issues with mine gaining power uphill and occasional rough start; waiting for parts I guess for the fuel pump recall to see if that's the issue, but it'll go into limp mode until I restart the engine. gotta go easy uphill or it starts chugging, especially after first start

Great vid, thanks a bunch for the details! I've got a 2018 civic SI, mine was misfiring on cold start and ran very lean under any type of spirited throttle. I cleaned my injectors and replaced the fuel pump with a more powerful pump, since it has a recall on the Si. Worked exceedingly well! Definitely worth the time investment, fixed those issues and didnt have to pay the dealership a fortune. I do have a set of the new type of injectors from Honda on order, since they discontinued these garbage ones. Oh yea, before you start it, if you turn the car to accessory mode 5-6 times, you'll build the fuel pressure up and wont have to crank it. :)

Silicone grease will be better than oil on the o-rings. Motor oil can cause the o-rings to swell and degrade quicker.

Hey your video is really helpful. I am replacing injectors on a 2014 Accord 2.4 L earth dreams, but nonetheless your guide still applies to steps that I must take as well. I have a question about the fuel rail outlets for the injectors. I noticed you didn't really close up on them in your video before sitting the new injectors in them. But on my fuel rail there are O rings that I am wondering if I can get away with leaving them as is before I install my new injectors. I don't think you made any changes to those in your process unless tldw. Thanks, I appreciate any feedback!

I’m at 120k miles I changed the sparks plugs and coils and I got a new battery but sometimes my accord feels like it has a weak start struggles for a little bit like a second or 2 after that is fine

A 6 or 7 mm closed end wrench will slip over and compress the backside of the annoying wire connections. One mechanic I know will connect a scanner to the car then take the car up a near by steep onramp in 1 st gear . The car will throw codes a couple of times then in most cases the injectors will clear out.

Run higher octane from now on, Honda recommended me this, i had the same issue, sucks the manual says 87 but that is not the case..

Senior Master Tech Tip: Don't use vise grips on your automobile hoses in order to remove them. You'll stand a good chance at destroying the hose. This goes for reinstalling of the same. There are special pliers for these hoses. A good set that will last the DIY'er a lifetime can be purchased at your local harbor freight for a very fair price.

My car still does the little shake at stop lights. I would not worry about that part. But if your dash lights are on, something still needs to get fixed.

There is no need to change these injectors. They are perfectly washed on stands and checked. Test range 40-120 Bar. There is a microfilter at the inlet, it is advisable to replace it.

The parts are Chinese fakes/reps that’s why. I’ve heard people running them but most say you will only get half life out of them (40k-50k) if you’re lucky enough to not get complete crap. I’d probably do it if I was on a tight budget but you’re gonna have to do this process all over again sooner rather than later lol.

People do injector cleaning. But its typically for port injection. I'd recommend just buying new OEM. However if you get yours cleaned and it works, please let us know!

I had to go with Amazon. Only place I could find. Dealership wanted 700 for the parts and 700 for the labor.
